The $700 billion defense policy bill was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives in support of President Donald Trump’s plans for a bigger and stronger military, Reuters reported Tuesday. Despite the decision, the House did not say how the massive spending increase would be funded, said the report. Controlled largely by Republican members, the House voted 356-70 for the annual National Defense Authorization Act, also known as NDAA. The NDAA authorizes defense spending at such a magnitude and determines the policies which control how the money is spent, the report said.
