Theresa May Sets March 29 For Article 50 Brexit To Begin

British leaders have set next Wednesday, March 29, as the day to officially notify the European Union Britain is leaving the group, BBC News reported Monday. Prime Minister Theresa May said she would write a letter to the European Council disclosing the triggering of Article 50 – stating Britain intends to leave the EU – and declaring UK terms of exit and future relations to begin as quickly as possible, the report said.
