Mel B Had Pre-Nup

Added: 24.03.2017 19:22 | 4 views | 0 comments

Mel's B's estranged husband is expected to get just £5 million in their divorce.
The former Spice Girls singer filed for divorce from Stephen Belafonte earlier this week and it has now emerged he won't be getting an equal share of her estimated £48 million fortune because they signed a pre-nuptial agreement before they tied the knot in June 2007.
A source told The Sun Online: "Mel is a canny Yorkshire lass and was advised to protect her assets and estate before the wedding.
"This wasn't an act of preparing for the marriage to fail but was an act of a hard-nosed business woman who knew the pitfalls that can lie ahead in any relationship."
It isn't known how much was stated in the documents, but legal expert Harold Walker admitted Stephen, 41, could get more than their pre-agreed sum if he could prove he had turned down work in order to support the 41-year-old star's business endeavours.
He said: "A figure could be added to the pre-nup if it is shown that he has effectively turned down work to be at his wife's side.
"I think a total of a £5 million settlement that includes the pre-nup and any additional lost work seems reasonable and certainly a lot less than half of £48 million."
It was previously claimed the former couple had taken their five-year-old daughter Madison and Mel's children Phoenix, 18, whom she has with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar and Angel, nine, from her fling with Eddie Murphy, to a family therapy session in order to "make sure their kids are OK" in the wake of the split.
The pair were said to have travelled in separate cars to the session which took place in Mulholland Estates in Beverly Hills, at the home of Mel's long time psychiatrist Doctor Charles Sophy.
And all three children travelled in a third car with their nanny.
The reported family therapy session is believed to be the first session of this kind that the pair have attended, though it was previously reported they had tried couples therapy before their split to no avail.
A source said: "They started from the beginning when they realised they were very different people, who would argue and row. Their personalities were like fire and ice, one minute it was pure adoration and the next it was an all-out war.
"It led to them having blow-out arguments non-stop. However, as they got further down the line, the stress of keeping things together proved too much. The therapy prompted more fights and bitterness. Their connection by the end was all but burned out."

George Michael's Funeral Kept Secret by Family

Added: 24.03.2017 16:22 | 4 views | 0 comments

George Michael's family are keeping his funeral a secret from the late singer's friends.
The 'Faith' hitmaker - who was found dead in bed on Christmas Day (12.25.16) - is reportedly being laid to rest next to his mother at Highgate West Cemetery, north London on Sunday (03.26.17) but his close friends haven't been informed by his relatives when the service will take place and have been camped outside the graveyard waiting for movement.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "They are ready to crash the funeral. They are yards from the entrance. You can't miss the car. It's a great big Range rover with personalised number plate."
The ceremony at Highgate is just 250 yards away from where George - who was just 53 when he passed away from natural causes - is expected to be buried alongside his beloved mother Lesley and will be an intimate affair with just 30 people.
A source previously said: "The funeral is going to be a very small, private gathering. The chapel only seats 30 so, apart from family, there won't be many others there.
"The details are a closely-guarded secret. Most guests will be told what's going on a few hours beforehand. The idea is to avoid them being mobbed by fans trying to get a glimpse of their idol's farewell."
Though details for the service are being kept as quiet as possible, it is believed former Spice Girls singer Geri Horner will give a reading after George's Wham! band mate Andrew Ridgeley - who gave a touching tribute to his friend alongside backing singers Pepsi & Shirley at the BRIT Awards last month - felt unable to address the congregation as it would be too emotional.
The source added: "Andrew overcame massive anxieties to perform a tribute at the Brits. He was asked to read at the funeral but felt it would be too much. Instead, Geri has been asked to speak. The choice has raised eyebrows among some of his friends as the two weren't close when he died."
It was recently claimed George has left his £10 million London mansion to his older sister Melanie, 55.
Melanie is thought to have already moved into the home whilst she plans the funeral of the ex-Wham! star.
A source said: "George was very close to his whole family but he had a particularly special bond with Melanie, who was by his side at the height of his fame.
"She adores the Highgate house, one of the first he bought. They shared some wonderful times there and it has a special place in her heart. Melanie is staying there at the moment while she organizes the funeral."

George Michael fans 'pay to visit Highgate Cemetery'

Added: 20.03.2017 19:22 | 1 views | 0 comments

George Michael fans have reportedly been paying £14 to take a guided tour of the cemetery where he will be buried.
The 'Careless Whisper' hitmaker - who was found dead in bed on Christmas Day (12.25.16) - is set to be laid to rest alongside his mother Lesley at Highgate West Cemetery, north London, later this week.
And loyal fans of the chart-topping star have been so eager to show their love for George that they have paid for guided tours of the cemetery, according to the Daily Star newspaper.
However, George's family are determined to maintain the late singer's privacy and have, therefore, demanded they keep tours well away from the grave.
This comes shortly after it was reported George will be laid to rest in a low-key ceremony that will only be witnessed by around 30 mourners.
A source recently said: "The funeral is going to be a very small, private gathering. The chapel only seats 30 so, apart from family, there won't be many others there.
"The details are a closely-guarded secret. Most guests will be told what's going on a few hours beforehand. The idea is to avoid them being mobbed by fans trying to get a glimpse of their idol's farewell."
Although George's family have remained tight-lipped about the specifics of his funeral, it is believed former Spice Girls singer Geri Horner will give a reading after his former Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgeley felt he would be too emotional to address the congregation.
The source explained: "Andrew overcame massive anxieties to perform a tribute at the Brits. He was asked to read at the funeral but felt it would be too much. Instead, Geri has been asked to speak.
"The choice has raised eyebrows among some of his friends as the two weren't close when he died."
